The scene: immediately pre-bedtime during the 4 things ritual.
The background: The 4 things ritual involves the following activities, but in an order that is chosen by Isaac:
1) getting a drink of water from the kitchen,
2) changing into pajamas,
3) brushing teeth, and
4) sitting on the toilet
Tonight, these events were proceeding in a somewhat chaotic order, and the sitting on the toilet ocurred midway during the retrieving of the drink of water. Pants were required to finish the drink retrieval, so Isaac wore the necessary pants sans underwear.
Tony said, “Hey Isaac, do you know what it’s called when you wear pants without any underwear? Going COMANDO!”
Isaac replied, “Yeah! And do you know what it’s called when you wear shoes without any socks? Going SWIMMING!!
