Carol has achieved that which they said could not be achieved. She has been placed on Bed Rest. She doesn’t feel sick, but her blood pressure was a bit high, so they decided that rather than let her get worse they would just send her home. No more work until September for my lovely wife.
Other things our midwife prescribed: strawberries, watermelon, movies (specifically comedies), and lying down 2 hours at a time three times a day in addition to sleeping.
The bottom line is that I’ve got a big problem on my hands. She’s beaten every Legend of Zelda game in existence, she doesn’t have any books, and I can only count on sudoku for so long. I still have to work for some reason, so I won’t be around for most of the day to entertain her by juggling fish and eating swords. Does anyone have any ideas? Suggested movies? Good books? For now all is well. Carol is happy, I am happy, the gears are starting to turn, and soon Tony, Son of Tony will be a tiny little person in a tiny little hat.
