In an absolutely stunning display of my technical prowess I have managed to change the theme for my blog. No, I didn’t write this theme, and no, I didn’t search very far to find it. This happened to be the first one that came up on the WordPress website. I like the colors, and it scored points for just being non-default. Oh, and it’s called Almost Spring, which I thought just made it sound lovely.
Oh, and feel free to leave comments! I can’t believe that nobody had anything to say about that picture of Fred a couple posts back. He had flour all over his face!
Since this is my first trip to the Eichenblog, I thought I’d answer the call for comments. I’m liking the new theme (err… there was an old theme?), but somehow Almost Spring isn’t all that timely for the last day of June.
You should give Fred another baby to eat around Halloween. He could be your Ghost Dog, or Hippo… whatever.

Actually I posted that last night. I’m not sure how to set this server up to have the correct timestamp.. Notice how your comment says that you posted at 8:01 pm…
It’s definately un-ethical to blog while at work.
(on a side note: I don’t even have an internet connection at home!)
In the WordPress Admin, under Options -> General you can specify the number of hours your timestamps are offset from UTC time
(Times in the weblog should differ by:)
I have mine set to -5, which seems to be kind of close.
Ah, that must be the problem. I had mine set to 5.0 instead of -5.0..
